“BEHIND THE SOUND”

After Ian Dal (drummer) left the band to session for Gasulina in manila, Tabularaza was hibernating for over a period of months, leaving the recording project in placid mode. plus, John Comeros (bassist) was also forced to leave the band due to personal reasons. It took more or less six months to re-align the band’s goals and priorities. As Tabularaza struggled to fight for it's existence, along came Billy Boy Go (drummer) and Dov Vallar (bassist) thus, completing the band's full circle.

“THE NEW SOUND”

With the new energy and chemistry that Iking Ranises (rhythm/vocals) Bammerz Roa (lead guitar) BillyBoy Go (drummer) and Dov Vallar (bassist) share on the stage and in the studio, the band gave birth to a new sound of Tabularaza. Hammering with raw guitar drives and steady beats pampered with the back bone bass lines, the new sound emits a more dynamic feel yet, still filled with emotions. The band even opted to re-record everything giving life to a more raw crancking sound, mono melodic licks and doing away with the heavy over powering drum line attacks, making the new sound more direct, pure and real as possible.

“THE SCHEDULE”

The band aims to release a ten track album and have already recorded 6 tracks which include “sweet intoxication”, “point finger”, “breathe” and “fly alone”. The rest of the titles are still on the works as well as the album title. The target release schedule for the first single will be end of May and Late June for the album launching in Cagayan de Oro City, to be followed by the Mindanao, visayas and Luzon tour.
